I am possibly the only person in mainstream America who is enjoying the prolonged battle between Hillary and Barack. According to NPR and CNN and The New York Times and every other news outlet, I should be sick of it and disgusted by it and praying for it to end… for the sake of the party, for cripes sake, think of the PARTY! And yet, as a lifelong registered Democrat, I am loving the whole process. It is a real workout of the democratic electoral process.

Besides the call for Hillary to step aside when it’s so close does not sit well with me on any level. Maybe if it were two male candidates it wouldn’t bother me as much. But the whole idea that a very viable candidate, one who just took Pennsylvania by 55% to her rival’s 45%, should concede for - you know - the comfort and well-being of the rest of us, just makes me a little nauseous. Doesn’t that attitude remind you of anything?  

Keep fighting, Hillary. Make ‘em knock you out cold before they start the count.
