This bloom appeared in my much neglected iron planter. I have no idea from what it sprang - certainly nothing I planted deliberately. A small gift from Mother Nature.

Update: According to Mom, this is a begonia. Thing is, I never bought, planted or otherwise conjured begonias in my flower garden. Not that I recall. But given my life these days, anything is possible.
